An antique French Rococo Style (Louis XV Revival) cast brass furniture appliqué or pediment mount. Features a symmetrical openwork design centered on a neoclassical urn flanked by scrolling acanthus foliage, floral garlands, and roses. Designed as a decorative accent for furniture, mirrors, clocks, or pediments.
Condition
Good antique condition. Reverse exhibits natural casting texture, age-appropriate dark oxidation, and minor surface patina. Cast metal structure remains firm and intact - single very small crack on the thin section on the right of the second rose from the left.
