Art Nouveau cast brass desktop matchbox holder and tray, dating from the late Victorian to Edwardian era (c. 1900). Featuring a scalloped shell-shaped basin beautifully detailed with a relief casting of ivy leaves and organic scrollwork. Condition is fair considering age. Signs of use are visible but only reflect over 100 years of cherishing.
